UK : Loughborough University PhD Research Studentships

Applications are invited for PhD research studentships within Loughborough University's Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering for the 2008-2009 academic year. Studentships will be paid a tax-free stipend of at least £12,000 p.a. for 3 years, plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate. For well-qualified overseas graduates studentships will cover the overseas fees. Applicants should be highly motivated and have (or expect to obtain by October 2008) a minimum of an upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in the appropriate engineering discipline.

Eligibility:
Candidates should hold, or expect to receive, a first or upper second degree in a relevant engineering or science subject. In addition applicants whose first language is not English English will require a language qualification, full details can be found at:
