The MA Applied Strategy and International Security encompasses the study of strategy and contemporary security issues, offering policy-focused courses which give students an insight into the kinds of issues which challenge governments, armed services, and international organisations.
Programme highlights The ethos of DSSG is policy-centred, with the emphasis of examining contemporary problems, learning from past experiences, and outlining possible policy solutions Teaching is interactive, including the use of conflict simulation exercises
Duration 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time
Entry Requirements
An honours degree or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or an equivalent professional or academic qualification. For overseas students, an IELTS score of 6.5 is required.
